Interesting juxtaposition...

From:
Mom Fights to Keep Baby on Life Support

"Under a Texas law signed by then-Gov. George W. Bush in 1999, hospitals don't have to continue life support more than 10 days after their ethics board decides lifesaving measures are pointless. Families, however, have the right to look for a facility that will continue treatment."

And yet, in March of 2005, Dubya fights against terminating life support for Terry Schiavo...

Things that make you go hmmm...

I'm so confused... knowing how the President is these days, one would wonder why he would have ever agreed to the "ethics board can decide to terminate life support" rule...

This gives some credence to the conspiracy theory folks who think that Dubya is brainwashed and taking orders from some Theocratic super-government... ;)
